Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for adult outpatient populations with varying diagnoses
• Implement, supervise, and modify therapy plans of care based on ongoing assessment of patient response and progress toward goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, referring providers, and support staff to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Develop and deliver patient and family education including home exercise programs, ensuring comprehension through feedback and return demonstration
• Document patient encounters, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with applicable policies and regulatory requirements
• Oversee and direct the work of Physical Therapist Assistants, support staff, students, and interns as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Physical Therapist license required at time of submission
• Entry-level qualifying master's or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; or graduate of an APTA-approved master's or bachelor's-level PT program with 2 years of experience and continuing education demonstrating doctoral-level knowledge
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid driver's license
• Flu vaccination required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in adult outpatient rehabilitation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer billing procedures
• Experience with durable medical equipment assessment, fitting, and coordination
