    Travel Physical Therapist

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Temp-to-Hire Possibility

    Key Responsibilities
    • Gather pertinent patient data from charts and other caregivers; consult with physicians as necessary
    • Independently assess all assigned patient types across outpatient settings including orthopedic, balance, deconditioning, and pain cases
    • Recognize additional patient needs during evaluation and exercise sound clinical judgment when requesting, scheduling, or performing additional testing
    • Interpret evaluation results and formulate relevant, measurable, realistic, and attainable therapy goals
    • Reassess patient progress regularly in accordance with department and regulatory policy, or as clinical need arises
    • Identify appropriate equipment and coordinate discussion with patients and families regarding recommendations
    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
    • Active Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) license in the state of Texas or a compact state license required
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required — American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
    • Outpatient clinical experience required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
    • Strong background in outpatient orthopedic, balance, or pain management settings preferred
