Key Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and treat patients in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
- Deliver direct physical therapy services focused on restoring patient function and mobility
- Document all services accurately and in a timely manner
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs in accordance with applicable practice acts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and patient families to support comprehensive care
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
- Active New Jersey state Physical Therapy license, or ability to obtain prior to start
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules, facilities, and patient populations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility setting
- Experience supervising PTAs or Rehab Techs in a clinical environment
