    Contract | Days | Outpatient | 13 Weeks | Four 9-hour shifts plus one 4-hour shift on Fridays

    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
    • Provide outpatient orthopedic physical therapy services including pre/post-operative shoulder, hip, knee, and back conditions as well as non-operative shoulder, neck, low back, and foot/ankle conditions
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring design of functional treatment programs that support effective return to community activities
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations as assigned
    • Adhere to discipline-specific state practice acts and regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and complete all state-mandated continuing education requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Texas
    • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
    • Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings
    • Ability to complete documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and practices
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience treating pre/post-operative orthopedic conditions including shoulder, hip, knee, and back
    • Experience with clinical student supervision and professional mentorship
    • Active involvement in continuing education and professional development activities
