    Key Responsibilities
    • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
    • Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
    • Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all regulatory agency requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing
    • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute feedback through staff meetings, focus groups, or direct supervisor channels
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Physical Therapist license in good standing (Alaska licensure required)
    • Experience in general orthopedic physical therapy
    • Ability to perform 60-minute evaluations and treatments
    • Compliance with all state-mandated continuing education requirements
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and safe patient handling practices
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in pelvic floor physical therapy strongly preferred
    • Familiarity with outpatient clinic workflows, documentation standards, and insurance authorization processes
    • Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students
