    Physical Therapist

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Full-Time (40 hours/week) | 1–2 evenings until 7 PM | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
    • Perform 60-minute evaluations and treatments with an orthopedic focus, progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs as assigned, including supervision, development of learning objectives, and completion of student evaluations
    • Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and all regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of New Jersey
    • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including 1–2 evenings per week until 7 PM
    • Demonstrated ability to complete thorough clinical documentation in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and adherence to professional codes of conduct
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
    • Experience supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy students
    • Familiarity with functional quality indicator assessments and letters of medical necessity
