    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction.
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
    • Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.
    • Design functional treatment programs that support effective return to community activities and progress patients toward discharge within an established length of stay.
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations as assigned.
    • Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and valid Physical Therapist licensure (or eligibility) in the state of Georgia.
    • Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
    • Proficiency in clinical documentation including progress notes, goal writing, and charge entry in compliance with applicable regulations.
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety practices including safe patient handling and infection control protocols.
    • Adherence to discipline-specific professional code of conduct and ethical standards.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
    • Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality of care initiatives.
    • Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students in a clinical environment.
