Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all continuing education requirements
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers while actively pursuing professional development through continuing education and professional organizations

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain licensure in Georgia)
• Ability to complete comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Proficiency in clinical documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
• Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and workplace compliance policies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Experience with student supervision and clinical education programs
• Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives
