Key Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in delivering patient care and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and functional mobility training
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Maintain a safe and supportive treatment environment in accordance with facility policies
Required Qualifications
- Active PTA license in the state of Iowa
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Must reside at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard contract rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
