    Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Travel Contract

    Location

    Danville, Virginia

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week | No Weekends | No Call Requirements

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide physical therapy assistant services in an outpatient rehabilitation setting serving an adult patient population
    • Deliver therapeutic exercise and manual correction techniques under the direction of a supervising physical therapist
    • Treat a variety of conditions including back pain, neck pain, TMJ dysfunction, vestibular disorders, balance and gait deficits, pelvic floor dysfunction, lymphedema, and stroke rehabilitation
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the facility's electronic health record system
    • Maintain a 1:1 patient care ratio and uphold quality standards throughout each treatment session
    • Demonstrate willingness to learn and apply new treatment techniques as introduced by the clinical team
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Virginia or from a compact-eligible state
    • Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed PTA
    • Proficiency in therapeutic exercise techniques
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient rehabilitation environment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in pelvic health or pelvic floor rehabilitation
    • Background in lymphedema management
    • Proficiency in manual therapy techniques
    • Familiarity with REDOC XFIT or similar outpatient EHR platforms
