    Contract | Days | Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–6:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction.
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.
    • Design functional treatment programs that support effective patient return to community activities and progress patients toward discharge within an established length of stay.
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations as assigned.
    • Adhere to the applicable State Practice Act and all regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Physical Therapist licensure in good standing.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient orthopedics.
    • Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
    • Proficiency in clinical documentation including goal writing, functional assessments, and charge entry in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and adherence to professional codes of conduct.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy students in a clinical setting.
    • Active involvement in continuing education, professional organizations, or self-directed professional development initiatives.
    • Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality improvement initiatives in a clinical environment.
