Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment to adult inpatient rehabilitation patients in a free-standing inpatient rehab hospital setting
• Treat a diverse patient population including stroke, traumatic and non-traumatic brain injury, debility, amputation, non-traumatic and traumatic spinal cord injury, cardiac and pulmonary conditions, and neurological disorders such as MS, Parkinson's, and myopathy
• Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment including Lite Gait, Biodex, and Zero-G systems as part of individualized treatment plans
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic EHR
• Collaborate closely with nursing and interdisciplinary therapy team members to deliver cohesive, patient-centered care
• Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 5:1 within a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Indiana (compact eligible state)
• Minimum of 1–2 years of physical therapy experience
• Experience working with adult patient populations
• Required education: BS, MS, or DPT in Physical Therapy
• Ability to work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with Epic EHR documentation
• Experience treating neurological, cardiac, or pulmonary diagnoses in a rehabilitation context
