    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans and goals focused on progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay.
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address all barriers to discharge, including equipment trialing and ordering, patient and family training, home exercise program development, and coordination of continuing services.
    • Effectively manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions based on patient care needs, demonstrating flexibility in caseload management and coverage.
    • Complete accurate and timely medical record documentation including daily notes, goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, discharge documentation, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
    • Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations.
    • Actively engage in professional development, performance improvement initiatives, and patient and professional advocacy efforts.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Missouri.
    • Adherence to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory agency requirements.
    • Completion of all state-mandated continuing education requirements.
    • Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
    • Ability to complete thorough and compliant medical record documentation in accordance with hospital policies and state and federal guidelines.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care hospital setting.
    • Familiarity with interdisciplinary team collaboration and discharge planning processes.
    • Prior experience supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy students.
