    Contract | Minimum 12 weeks | Days, 5x8s, 8:00am–5:00pm | Expected 40 hours/week | No weekends | No call | No holiday coverage | Possibility to extend

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide physical therapy services across a varied caseload including outpatient, inpatient/acute care, and swing bed patients
    • Typically expected to see 5+ outpatient visits per day plus 2+ inpatient/swing bed patients, depending on census
    • Treat a patient population ranging from pediatric through geriatric, with conditions including orthopedic and post-surgical rehabilitation, joint replacement follow-up, falls and balance, post-hospital deconditioning, work/farm-related injuries, and chronic pain and mobility limitations
    • Document accurately within the facility EMR (TruBridge/CPSI), including Medicare Part A and Part B documentation requirements
    • Function as the sole PT on site, working independently while collaborating with nursing, clinic providers, and business office staff
    • Potentially supervise a PTA if one is hired during the contract period
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Montana PT license or PT Compact privilege required by start date
    • Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
    • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
    • Current BLS certification
    • Individual NPI required
    • Must complete facility credentialing prior to seeing patients
    • Reliable winter transportation and comfort with winter driving conditions required, as this contract extends into the Montana winter
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Medicare Part A/Part B documentation and swing bed patients
    • Background in rural or Critical Access Hospital settings
    • Orthopedic, manual therapy, balance, or vestibular treatment experience
    • Comfort working in a small-team environment with interest in contributing to the growth of a rural therapy program
