Key Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and treat patients in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
- Accurately and timely document all therapy services provided
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs in accordance with applicable practice acts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and patient families to support optimal outcomes
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
- Active state Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt to varying schedules, settings, and patient populations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a rehab or skilled nursing facility setting
- Experience supervising PTAs or Rehab Techs
