    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
    • Design functional treatment programs focused on progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay and facilitating effective return to community activities
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients while ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
    • Adhere to discipline-specific state practice acts and regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and uphold professional codes of conduct
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Texas
    • Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
    • Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
    • Proficiency in clinical documentation, goal writing, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
    • Demonstrated commitment to patient and employee safety standards
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students in a clinical setting
    • Active involvement in continuing education and professional development activities
    • Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies in a clinical environment
