    Physical Therapist

    Contract | Days | 4x9s and 1x4 schedule preferred

    Key Responsibilities
    • Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs
    • Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries
    • Guide and monitor patient care in all aspects of treatment and follow-up, including accurate chart documentation
    • Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care
    • Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
    • Adhere to HIPAA policy and procedure and maintain familiarity with PT billing policy, ICD-10 coding, and relevant compliance regulations
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California (or eligibility to obtain licensure in the near future)
    • Degree in Physical Therapy
    • Ability to maintain and update PT skills and certifications as necessary
    • Proficiency in EMR systems and general computer skills (typing, Word, Internet)
    • Ability to lift 50+ pounds, assist with patient transfers, and remain physically mobile for 8–10 hour shifts including standing, walking, and sitting
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Continuing education coursework relevant to physical therapy
    • Familiarity with Medicare, workers' compensation, private, auto, lien, and cash-pay billing procedures
    • Experience in an outpatient or rehabilitation clinic setting
