Physical Therapist (PT) – Travel Contract

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday with one weekend day per month | Approximately 8-hour shifts, start time 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy services to patients within a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting
- Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute care needs
- Implement and progress therapeutic interventions in alignment with patient goals and physician orders
- Document patient care, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately using facility EMR system (ProTouch)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of New Mexico
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
- Proficiency or ability to quickly learn ProTouch EMR
- Ability to adhere to facility dress code (Navy Blue Scrubs)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in an LTACH or similar acute care facility setting
- Experience with travel therapy assignments or adaptability to new clinical environments
