Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist- Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments based on physician referrals
- Complete comprehensive evaluations using appropriate assessment tools
- Review patient records for relevant medical information
- Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans
- Reassess treatment efficacy and patient progress regularly
- Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team and family
- Consult with medical providers regarding patient care
- Recommend adaptive equipment to enhance patient function
- Maintain evaluation, treatment, and billing documentation
- Adhere to company standards and state/federal laws
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides
- Participate in staff development programs
Requirements of the Physical Therapist- Compact State or Maryland State Licensed Physical Therapist
- Experience with Oasis documentation and Homecare Homebase EMR system
- Strong customer service and time management skills
