This role focuses on outpatient care, dealing with a variety of patient types such as ortho, balance, deconditioned, and pain management. An OP background is highly preferred, and the position offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist- Gather pertinent data from chart and other caregivers; discuss with physician as necessary
- Independently assess all patient types as assigned
- Demonstrate ability to recognize additional needs during evaluation; exercise good judgment in decision making
- Interpret results and formulate relevant, measurable, realistic, and attainable goals
- Reassess patient progress regularly per department and regulatory policy, or when the need arises
- Identify appropriate equipment, discuss with patient and family, and make recommendations
Requirements of the Physical Therapist- Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; Bachelor's degree required
- LPT License in the state of TX (or compact) required
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
