Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in a travel assignment in Orleans, MA. This role is within an outpatient setting focusing on both adult and pediatric patient care. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for organizing and conducting medically prescribed treatment programs aimed at restoring function and preventing disability.

Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist- Evaluate new patients and establish measurable treatment goals for functional outcomes
- Administer diagnostic tests to determine the extent of patient impairment
- Implement treatment modalities and re-evaluate patient progress to modify plans
- Provide documentation on patient care and communicate effectively with medical personnel
- Instruct patients and families in therapeutic procedures to continue post care
- Assist in training new personnel and guide Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides
- Maintain departmental policies, quality programs, and safety standards
- Participate in professional development through education programs
- Keep daily statistical records of patient activity and charges
Requirements of the Physical Therapist- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
