Must-Have:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required, only if obtained license on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent
Description:
Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions.
Serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.
Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention.
Uses appropriate clinical techniques and tools and establishes individualized treatment plans for patients.
Provides therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques.
Establishes individualized care and discharge plans and ensures plans are communicated to appropriate parties.
Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
Supervises assigned assistants.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Commits to the safety and wellbeing of associates and patients, requiring all associates to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment.
Medical and religious exemptions may apply.
Participates in E-Verify.
Staffs all areas seven days per week.
Provides a thirty-minute lunch with an on-site cafeteria.
Department training will be provided during the first week after hospital orientation.
Special equipment, including Arjo lift equipment, is available.
Completes special procedures as needed.
Scrubs are not provided; hunter green scrubs (top) are required, while bottoms can be black or hunter green.
Weekends are required, with typical scheduling preferences for contract therapy to meet staffing needs.
Plans may include alternative weekday comp days.
Organizes the schedule for optimal staff coverage.
