Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist
  • Evaluate new patients, set measurable goals, and document treatment plans
  • Administer diagnostic tests to assess patient impairments and prognoses
  • Perform treatments, fabricate adaptive equipment, and adjust therapy techniques
  • Provide documentation of patient care, education, and communication
  • Effectively communicate with healthcare personnel on patient progress and planning

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist
  • Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Current BLS certification
