Description:
Therapist will provide services in a home health setting.
Coverage includes multiple counties with the majority of patients located in one primary county.
Schedulers strive to group patients together on specific days to minimize travel time and enhance productivity.
Driving distance is typically around 20-30 miles per day, with a maximum of 70 miles on busier days.
Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate.
The patient population includes adults to geriatrics with various diagnoses, including joint replacements, COPD, CHF, and T2DM.
The average daily census is approximately 175 patients, with each therapist expected to conduct 6 visits daily.
Full-time productivity is around 25 units.
Experience with HomeCare HomeBase is highly preferred.
If no experience with the system is available, completion of an online training course is required before starting.
Flexibility in float assignments may be necessary within the scope of practice.
While weekend shifts are not required, the therapist is expected to work during designated major holidays if applicable.
Compliance with onboarding requirements is crucial for timely start of the assignment.
A clinical screen will be conducted to assess candidate fit within guidelines prior to final decision-making.
