Description

We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 12-week contract beginning January 4. This position is primarily outpatient, with approximately 90% Outpatient and 10% Inpatient responsibilities.

The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with a variety of diagnoses, develop individualized plans of care, and provide skilled interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and overall independence.

Assignment Details
  • Contract Length: 12 weeks
  • Start Date: January 4
  • Setting: 90% Outpatient / 10% Inpatient
  • Average Caseload: 10–12 patients per day
  • Therapy Team: 6 Physical Therapists and 3 Physical Therapist Assistants
  • New Grads: Accepted
Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional goals.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, strengthening, gait training, balance training, mobility training, and other appropriate interventions.
  • Treat both outpatient and inpatient populations as assigned.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
  • Educate patients and caregivers regarding exercises, mobility techniques, safety, and home programs.
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with PTs, PTAs, physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Participate in care and discharge planning as appropriate.
  • Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-centered treatment environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Active Physical Therapist license in the assignment state or ability to obtain one.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication, clinical, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative rehabilitation team.
  • Flexibility to provide services in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
