Ensures accurate billing processes and addresses inconsistencies in insurance coverage. Participates in in-service training programs for various staff and community groups. Maintains and enhances personal knowledge and promotes standards in physical therapy. Proactively engages in marketing and promotion of rehabilitation services. Carries out a variety of patient-related health assessments and procedures. Communicates changes in patient care schedules to the designated scheduler and supervisor. Completes required time points in compliance with regulations and policies. Works collaboratively with quality improvement staff to maximize accuracy of clinical documentation. Follows agency protocols for processes, including documentation and visit completion. Accurately fills out a variety of required forms in a timely manner. Carries out visits efficiently and communicates information to the scheduler effectively. Assesses patient needs for services and provides ongoing supervision in accordance with regulations. Coordinates safe patient discharges and ensures all paperwork is processed appropriately. Transmits incident reports to the quality improvement specialist as needed. Participates in regular peer review audits and provides constructive feedback.
