No call or weekends required. Floating to another facility is necessary, with a short travel distance. The average daily patient census is 10. Patient age groups include pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Staffing ratios are 1:1. Documentation systems used are WellSky and Epic. Communication follows the SBAR method. Support is provided by a unit secretary. Patient diagnoses include general orthopedic and neurological conditions.
