Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Acute Care Client Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid State License Certifications: BLS, CA state license, Manual Therapy Must-Have: Experience in Acute Care, Adaptive Devices, Gait training, Patient Transport to/from Treatment/Admissions Description: The Physical Therapist will work in an acute care setting with a focus on inpatient PT. The schedule includes Tuesday through Saturday. Candidates should possess strong time management skills and the ability to work independently. The therapist may be the only therapist in the acute setting on Saturdays. Experience with a variety of patient demographics including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics is preferred. Skills in lifting and transfer techniques, vital sign monitoring, and patient education are essential.
