Position primarily Monday through Friday with no weekends or holidays. Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: - Inpatient Rehabilitation: Spinal Cord Injuries, TBI, Strokes, Amputees, Multiple trauma, hip fractures, bilateral knee replacements, s/p Cardiac surgery, s/p COVID, medically complex/debilitating patients. - Acute: s/p Cardiac, s/p orthopedic procedures, medically complex/debilitating patients. - Outpatient: General Orthopedics (surgical and non-surgical), Sports Medicine, Pediatrics (developmental), Neuro-specific diagnoses (higher functioning), Spinal patients (surgical and non-surgical). - Skilled Nursing: similar to inpatient rehabilitation. Support within the department includes supervision from an Assistant Director and peer therapists. Technology/Equipment: - EMR: Meditech for inpatient and Wellsky for outpatient areas. - Charting systems are specific for inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, outpatient, and skilled nursing. No floating between facilities is expected unless specified. Weekend rotation is not required for outpatient; inpatient rehabilitation and acute care typically have one weekend per month. Time off policies will be discussed during the interview. No on-call duties are included. No holiday coverage is expected. Scrub color for inpatient is pewter; professional dress is an option for outpatient.
