Patient types include spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, amputees, multiple traumas, hip fractures, bilateral knee replacements, post-cardiac surgery, post-COVID cases, and medically complex/debilitating patients. Acute care includes post-cardiac and orthopedic procedures as well as medically complex patients. Outpatient care involves general orthopedics (surgical and non-surgical), sports medicine, pediatrics (developmental), neuro-specific diagnoses (higher functioning), and spinal patients (surgical and non-surgical). Skilled nursing is similar to inpatient rehabilitation care.
