Position is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. No call or weekend coverage is required. Department focuses on various patient types and diagnoses. Inpatient rehabilitation includes spinal cord injuries, TBI, strokes, amputees, multiple trauma, hip fractures, bilateral knee replacements, post-cardiac surgery, post-COVID, and medically complex patients. Acute care involves post-cardiac and post-orthopedic procedures as well as medically complex patients. Outpatient care encompasses general orthopedic cases, sports medicine, pediatrics, neuro-specific diagnoses, and spinal patients. Skilled nursing is similar to inpatient rehabilitation. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Meditech Expanse and Wellsky is beneficial. Support is provided through supervisors, assistant directors, and peer therapists. No floating between facilities unless specified. Caseload management will be fully established by the end of the first week. Weekend coverage for inpatient rehabilitation and acute care positions is generally required once a month. Time off requests will be discussed during the interview. No holiday coverage is required. Scrub color for inpatient is pewter or professional dress for outpatient roles.
