Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Treat approximately 8-12 patients per day in 30- to 45-minute blocks across outpatient and acute care/swing bed settings
  • Manage a caseload consisting of approximately 90% outpatient and up to 10% inpatient evaluations, with a PTA covering ongoing inpatient treatment
  • Evaluate and treat patients with diagnoses including orthopedic conditions (approximately 90%), general weakness, and neurological conditions
  • Perform evaluations in acute care and swing bed settings, with the PTA assuming the ongoing treatment load following evaluation
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance in accordance with facility dress code standards
  • Clock in and out at the facility for all shifts
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Wisconsin (or eligibility)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard contract rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
  • Familiarity with acute care and swing bed environments
  • Ability to work collaboratively with PTAs and rehab support staff
