Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for inpatient rehabilitation patients
  • Provide treatment for patients with neurological and orthopedic conditions, including total hip and knee replacements
  • Design and instruct patients and families on home exercise programs and ongoing care strategies
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans using Epic EMR
  • Deliver patient and family education throughout the continuum of care
Required Qualifications
  • Active Wisconsin Physical Therapist license (license may be pending at time of application)
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Candidates must be able to shave for mask fit testing prior to start; facility does not provide CAPRs or PAPRs and does not permit use of personal CAPRs or PAPRs - no medical or religious exemptions are accepted
  • Must live more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience in neurology and orthopedic rehabilitation settings
  • Background working in an inpatient or acute rehabilitation hospital environment
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
