Unit has a total of 189 beds, inclusive of ICU and telemetry.
Average hospital census runs at 150 patients.
An off-site outpatient center is located 2.5 miles from the main facility.
Services offered include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
Certified therapists will provide inpatient care and outpatient services.
The hospital employs a range of therapy professionals, including leads and licensed staff.
There is a weekend work requirement, with flexibility in scheduling.
No holiday work is required for this position.
Staff attire includes a burgundy polo or long sleeve shirt, black pants, and shoes.
Telemetry services are available for various patient floors.
Ventilator management varies and can peak at six patients.
In-house hospitalists and telemedicine intensivists provide patient care in the ICU.
A team is available for wound care therapy in inpatient settings.
Available shifts are predominantly 10 hours for travelers, with some flexibility for an 8-hour schedule.
Floating to different therapy settings may be required, including inpatient and outpatient care.
General department orientation includes a skills checklist and assignment to a clinician.
Common patient diagnoses include orthopedic, neurological, and pulmonary conditions, as well as a diverse adult and geriatric population.
Additional certification for stroke care and mobility programs is part of the facility’s services.
The location is conveniently nearby recreational areas for weekend getaways.
Cancellation policy allows for a set number of shift cancellations during the assignment.
Charting is done using an electronic medical record system.
