Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services across both inpatient (acute care) and outpatient settings, with travel between two facilities approximately 23 miles apart
  • Float between units based on daily census and patient needs
  • Manage a patient caseload with expected ratios of 1:5-10
  • Deliver afternoon outpatient coverage at a secondary facility following morning acute care duties
  • Document patient care and progress using Epic electronic health records
Required Qualifications
  • Active Washington State Physical Therapist license required (compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
  • Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapist experience required
  • Ability and willingness to work in both inpatient acute care and outpatient settings
  • Willingness to travel between two facilities (approximately 23 miles) during the shift
  • Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
  • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior experience in a critical access hospital or similar small-facility environment
  • Familiarity with Epic charting system
  • Experience working in both acute care and outpatient rehabilitation settings
