Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of 8-10 patients per day across ED and Med Surg areas
Treat a variety of case types including total joints, CVA, CHF, COPD, and sepsis
Apply clinical knowledge of pathology and lab values to guide patient care decisions
Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to coordinate and communicate patient progress
Work alongside PTAs as part of the therapy team
Required Qualifications
Active Arizona Physical Therapist (PT) license - must be in hand at time of submission
AHA BLS certification required
Minimum of one year of clinical experience (outside of clinical rotations/internships)
Strong understanding of pathology, lab values, and interdisciplinary communication
Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
No more than 5 days of requested time off
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in acute inpatient settings
Familiarity with total joint, neurological, and cardiopulmonary patient populations
Experience collaborating with PTAs in a team-based care model
