Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for an exciting travel contract opportunity in Ashland, AL. This role requires a proactive professional to perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments. The successful candidate will be working within a dynamic environment, helping patients reach their maximum level of independence and/or function.

Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist- Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments based on physician orders/referrals
- Use appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures
- Review patient records for diagnosis, medical history, and consider precautions and contraindications
- Develop and implement treatment plans with measurable goals
- Re-assess treatment plan effectiveness regularly and modify as needed
- Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team and relevant parties
- Consult with medical providers regarding evaluations, treatment, and discharge planning
- Recommend and assist in obtaining adaptive equipment for patients
- Maintain and submit documentation as required
- Adhere to professional practice standards and regulations
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides
- Participate in or conduct internal staff development programs and obtain continuing education
Requirements of the Physical Therapist- DPT License
- Proficiency with HCHB electronic charting system
- Knowledge of disease processes and patient education
