Job Opportunity – Physical Therapy Assistant – Northport, AL 35476

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Northport, Alabama

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 35 guaranteed hours per week, 89-day assignment through February 13, 2027

Requirements:
  • Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
  • Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs
  • Active Alabama PTA license in good standing with no current or prior discipline
  • Current BLS certification issued through American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with empathy and patience
  • Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and exercises
  • Comprehensive compliance documentation including background checks, health screenings, immunizations, and competency assessments
