Key Responsibilities
Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in delivering patient care and implementing individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and functional mobility training
Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
Maintain a safe and supportive treatment environment in accordance with facility policies
Required Qualifications
Active PTA license in the state of Iowa
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Must reside at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard contract rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
Strong documentation and communication skills
