Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of inpatient and outpatient experience for an outpatient clinic setting with occasional hospital coverage.

Details

  • Outpatient clinic setting with inpatient needs also available
  • Schedule is Monday-Thursday 8a-6p and Friday 8a-12p, with one Saturday per month at the hospital
  • No on-call requirements
  • No 48-hour guarantee or block scheduling options
  • EMR systems used include ReDoc/NetHealth and MedHost

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
  • Inpatient and outpatient experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • Current NM state licensure required; license required if applicable
  • Fingerprinting required for all NM travelers
  • Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment planning, and implementing techniques to restore mobility and reduce pain
  • Scrubs of any color are acceptable
  • Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
  • RTO requests must be less than one week
  • Not eligible if candidate has worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
