Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist – Kodiak, AK, 99615

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Kodiak, Alaska

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 17:00), 70 guaranteed hours per two-week period. Coverage includes outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facility settings. No on-call or weekend requirements.

Highlights:

• Critical Access Hospital serving diverse patient populations across all ages and diagnoses
• Varied clinical experience including outpatient, inpatient, and SNF settings, plus specialized services such as wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatrics
• Housing provided by the facility during assignment in a one-bedroom apartment with free parking
• Epic charting system in a 46-bed acute care facility with 22 long-term care beds and Level IV Trauma designation
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum one year of experience required
• 26-week assignment with opportunity to work in a unique Alaskan community

Requirements:

• Active Alaska Physical Therapy license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum one year of physical therapy experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Willingness to float within scope across outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facility settings
• Preferred experience in pediatrics and adolescent populations (not required)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
