Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 1+ year of experience to join a facility offering outpatient care with possible flexing to acute settings.

Details

  • Primary setting is Outpatient Clinic with possible flex to Acute Care
  • Coverage for weekends/holidays in Acute setting may be needed
  • Day shift schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday 8:00am-12:00pm
  • Cerner charting system experience preferred
  • Treats orthopedic conditions including joint replacements, spinal conditions, and post-op cases
  • Experience with cardiopulmonary, neurological, and geriatric patient populations

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the profession required
  • BLS certification required
  • Cerner charting experience preferred
  • Teaching hospital experience preferred
  • Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
  • License required if applicable
  • Experience with modalities such as cervical/lumbar traction, cryotherapy, e-stim, and ultrasound preferred
  • Skilled in patient assessment, documentation, and home exercise program development

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include patient assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge documentation
  • Patient and family education on safety, injury prevention, and home exercise programs included in role
  • Facility conducts its own mandatory onsite drug screen including marijuana testing upon arrival
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
