Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) located in a healthcare facility serving outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings. This position involves providing outpatient physical therapy services to various patient populations, supporting recovery and functional independence through tailored treatment plans and patient education. The role requires a committed healthcare professional capable of delivering high-quality clinical care.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, required for licensure and practice.
- Education Requirements: State license to practice as a Physical Therapist, pending license accepted.
- Location Requirements: Candidates must be willing to work in an outpatient setting, with a minimum of 50 miles from the facility, and relocate for the assignment if necessary.
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: Cover outpatient, acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospital, skilled nursing facility, and related specialties. Provide patient education on exercises, condition management, and injury prevention.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in outpatient, rehabilitation hospital, or SNFs with a focus on conditions including cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op cervical surgery, and similar diagnoses.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses to prior employment at Providence facilities, two references within the last three years, and confirm licensure status.
- Float: Float rotation not required.
