Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week assignment offering a predictable weekday schedule.

Details

• Outpatient rehabilitation setting providing skilled physical therapy services
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8 hours per day, no weekends
• Caseload of approximately 10 patients per day
• Treatment model includes 45-minute evaluations and treatment sessions with 30 minutes of built-in documentation time
• Uses Epic EMR
• May be required to float up to 25 miles between facilities as needed

Requirements

• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Non-AHA certifications may be submitted but AHA certification must be completed prior to start
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Provides outpatient coverage to support the primary team during a staffing gap
• Complete same-day documentation and billing for services provided
• Complete discharge documentation within 24 hours of discharge or notification of discharge
• Collaborate with the outpatient rehabilitation team to ensure continuity of patient care
• Vacation requests during the week of July 4th cannot be approved
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should be noted at submission
• Local candidates may be considered, though local travelers are not eligible for renewal or extension of the assignment
