Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience and current CO PT licensure for a full-time assignment in Glenwood Springs, CO.

Details

  • Outpatient physical therapy setting
  • Schedule consists of 4x10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, may include a regular Saturday
  • Guaranteed hours do not apply on holidays

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Current Colorado PT license (DORA) or compact license required, if applicable
  • Minimum 2 years of PT experience required; 3-5 years preferred
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Current flu vaccination required from Oct 1 through April 1, with no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include evaluating patients and developing and implementing treatment plans for a variety of diagnoses
  • Focus on improving patients' strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and function
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
  • Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
  • Housing opportunities available near the hospital, subject to availability
