Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) position located in Chula Vista, California. This outpatient role involves treating musculoskeletal injuries within a clinic setting, working collaboratively with a team of therapists. The position requires evaluating and managing patients with various orthopedic conditions, communicating treatment plans effectively with medical teams, and reporting patient progress to in-house and specialty doctors such as orthopedic surgeons and hand surgeons.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, current license valid for the state of California, minimum 14 years of experience in treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries, including strains, sprains, and fractures
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience treating 14-16 patients per day, experience practicing as a physical therapist for at least 2 years
  • Additional Information: Contract position responsible for evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic injuries, providing treatment plans and patient progress reports, and assisting colleagues in identifying issues.
