Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient Therapy Sullivan, Missouri. This position provides outpatient therapy to primarily adult and pediatric orthopedic and neurological patients across all age groups. The role includes patient assessment, treatment planning, home exercise programs, patient and family education, and safety and injury prevention.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience; current Missouri or compact-state Physical Therapist license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; experience with electronic medical record documentation; proficiency in manual therapy and wound care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric therapy experience; familiarity with Microsoft Teams for daily communication.
- Schedule: 10-hour day shifts scheduled Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Tuesdays and weekends off; 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Outpatient therapy setting serving orthopedic, neurological, developmental, traumatic brain injury, post-operative, sports injury, arthritis, and joint replacement populations. Responsibilities include lifting and transfers, home exercise programs, patient and family education, safety and injury prevention, recognition of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse indicators, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, rapport building, and attention to detail. Daily patient load is approximately 7590, with productivity expectations of 8590%. First-time travelers are accepted. The position is expected to begin 11/30/2026.
