Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 1+ years of outpatient experience for a day shift assignment.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Treats patients across orthopedic, neurologic, and work injury populations including post-op, spinal, and cognitive conditions

Requirements

• AZ license required before start date (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Charting system experience required

Additional Information

• Evaluates and treats patients per physician referral or direct access
• Supervises physical therapy assistants and PT technicians
• Performs work-related evaluations including Work Hardening, Functional Capacity Evaluations, and post-offer testing
• Conducts ergonomic evaluations and job analyses
• Maintains communication with referring physicians and rehab nurses regarding patient progress
• Open to first-time travelers
