Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient in Portsmouth, Ohio. This position involves providing outpatient therapy services within a trauma level outpatient unit at a healthcare organization. The role requires a licensed professional to deliver orthopedic, neuro, and chronic pain treatments, supporting patients with conditions such as total joint replacements, rotator cuff injuries, strokes, and back or cervical pain. The scheduled shifts are days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 09/07/2026.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Dayshift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Ohio Physical Therapist license, graduate of CAPTE-accredited PT program, no prior experience requirement, outpatient experience preferred
  • Preferred Qualifications: Outpatient therapy experience preferred, familiarity with orthopedic, neurological, and pain management treatments
  • Additional Information: The role involves working with a patient population that includes orthopedic, neurological, and chronic pain cases. The unit uses standard outpatient therapy equipment and is connected to a fitness center and pool. The position is a replacement for a permanent staff member.
