Job Summary:
Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) at a Maryland clinic in Damascus. This position involves providing therapy services to a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, neurological, sports medicine, and geriatric patients. The role requires collaboration with a team of clinicians and support staff, utilizing advanced AI-enabled documentation technology to enhance workflow and patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, with a flexible schedule including mornings and evenings; most days start at 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM and end by 5:00 PM on Fridays; no weekends. Total hours per week: 40 hours.
- Required Qualifications: Must complete documentation promptly and work effectively in a busy outpatient environment. Candidate should have more than 1 year of experience in outpatient therapy settings. New graduates will be considered but are not preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with orthopedic, neurological, sports medicine, and geriatric patients. Ability to handle patient caseload of 5055 patients per week with a variety of diagnoses.
- Additional Information: The clinic features a team including three PTs and two PTAs, supported by front-office staff and aides. The clinic uses NextGen documentation system and emphasizes a team-oriented environment. Candidates should be adaptable, collaborative, and prepared to work with innovative AI documentation tools that support clinical efficiency.
